Molecular Biology BSL 2 Laboratory at SLMCH offers a scope of examinations to determine and treat patients with possibly infective microorganisms. The lab has Extraction Room, Master Mix Room, Template addition room, RTPCR room, Reporting Room, Autoclave room. Explicit markers and genes are distinguished in the biological samples, whereas body fluids and blood are used to recognize the microorganisms’ presence and absence in the human body. 

We have devoted zones for testing transplantation similarity, quality testing, and irresistible infection conclusion. Real–time polymerase chain reaction (Real–Time PCR) coronavirus test is commonly used to measure gene expression. It is well equipped with an incubator, laminar airflow, biosafety hood, autoclave, centrifugation, refrigerators, micropipettes, Elisa reader/ washer, hot plate, and water blot.
