The Department of Dermatology at Sri Lalithambigai Medical College and Hospital (SLMCH) organized a Skin Cancer Awareness Camp from 7th May to 14th May 2025. The camp was held daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Department of Dermatology, 1st Floor, SLMCH.

The primary objective of the camp was to raise awareness about skin cancer, promote early detection, and educate the public on preventive measures. The camp offered:

• Free Counselling

• Free Dermoscopic Evaluation

A large number of patients and attendees benefited from the services, with dermatology experts providing valuable insights into skin health and cancer risks. The initiative was well-received and highlighted the institution’s commitment to public health and preventive care.
