The Department of Ophthalmology at Sri Lalithambigai Medical College and Hospital (SLMCH) successfully organized a DBCS Free Medical Camp on 13th March 2025 at Vellanoor, Avadi, Chennai.

The camp, held from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, aimed to provide free eye check-ups and consultations to the local community. A dedicated team of ophthalmologists, medical staff, and volunteers conducted vision tests, screenings for common eye conditions, and provided guidance on eye health and preventive care.

The initiative received an overwhelming response, benefiting numerous patients who received quality medical attention. The Medical Education Unit, SLMCH, extends its gratitude to all the doctors, staff, and organizers for their efforts in making this event a great success.
