The department of Pediatrics was started in our institute, which functions with Out-patient services, Inpatient services with 24 beds, State-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), With ten beds each. Our department has Associate Professor, Assistant Professors, Senior Residents, and Junior Residents with 24 X 7 pediatric services.
1. Outpatient Clinics: Pediatrics Out-Patient Clinics from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00p.m. For children aged 0-18 years.
2. Inpatient Clinics: A 24 bedded, well-equipped children Ward catering to pediatric population admitted for medical management.
3. Immunization Services: Immunization Clinics for Children is done on all days in Pediatric OPD.
4. Specialty Clinics:-
Well Baby Clinic: – All the normal newborns are followed up till one month of age.
High-Risk Newborn Clinic: – All the babies admitted and discharged from NICU are followed up in this clinic till two years of age. The children are referred to Child Development Clinic in case of any developmental delay.
Nutrition Clinic: – The growth and nutritional assessment are done for children here.
Child Development Clinic: – The high-risk newborns and other children with developmental delays are assessed, and interventions are advised.
Asthma and Allergy Clinic: – Special Clinics for Allergy and Asthma in the pediatric population are held on specific weekdays.
